Department of 音乐 Mission Statement

The 音乐 Department at Seton Hill University seeks to educate musicians who will think and act critically, 创造性地, and ethically; who will develop a personal commitment to and become an advocate for the art of music; and who are prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities for careers 在音乐中 in the twenty-first century.

The Seton Hill 表演艺术 Center

Seton Hill’s expansive 表演艺术 Center will provide you with multiple performance venues, including the Carol Reichgut Concert Hall, renowned for its fine acoustics. You’ll also enjoy learning, rehearsing and using new technology at the Center, which is perfectly suited for music making at the highest levels.  Seton Hill produces a complete season of concerts and workshops every year.

In addition to the University’s requirements for admission, all music majors must 试镜 to be accepted into the 音乐 Department. Consideration for music scholarships is determined by the quality of the 试镜.
